Well I was messing around in the registry and seemed to have messed it up.Started deleting stuff I thought was related to a program I no longer use.
Now when I reboot I get the blue screen error that says STOP 0x0000007B INACCESIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE
It says check for viruses and run CHKDSK.My question is how do I check for viruses and run CHKDSK if I can't start windows?Is there a way to run them from a floppy?
Using windows 2000

Boot with the CD and run a recovery console. Gives you a stripped down dos box to tinker under the hood.

For some reason I can't boot from the cd only the floppy.
I left out some more info, before I started messing with registry I did do a backup of registry.After I deleted some entries I did reboot a couple times and all was well.Then I got worried that I may have deleted some needed entries so I tried to import the backup and got an error saying it couldn't import the backup So I rebooted and tried again and same error then finally rebooted and now have the dreaded blue screen.

Rut Roh.... As to not booting the CD, make sure the BIOS is set to boot from CD first. Beyond that, without being there I'm not much help. Jump in guys.
