I hate Best Buy and go there rarely. If ever I do, I can't help counting the number of times BB staff ask "Finding everything OK?" (just so long as you don't ask them a real question!). Kinda like the worst Radio Shacks on steroids.

I had 30 minutes to kill before lunch today and figured I'd get a DVD. Then I looked up on the shelf and saw one of these for 25 bucks. Hmmm. I was thinking of getting a small bedroom/boat TV, and this one takes 12 volts, too. In fact they had 3 of them, apparently used in the vidcam demo area, but replaced with panels.

Well, no power cord and no remote, but I took it home, found a power cord, and hooked it up to rabbit ears. Looks great. Remote? Who cares when there's JP1?
