So, there's a laptop on a network. It needs to have MS Office installed. The laptop seems to function normally. However, when the CDROM for Office is inserted, the setup is run, and we see the boxes for the product key, there is no way to type anything into the boxes. In addition to that, there is a timer which, when expired, removes the boxes from the window.
I mention that the laptop is on the network because it was also attempted to run the setup from a CDROM drive on another PC. The same thing happened. When the setup is run on any other PC, whether using a CDROM attatched to the computer or across the network, it works normally.
Any ideas?
