I wish you hadn't posted that. I haven't had a chance to watch Jeopardy today, and I'd rather have been surprised.

And I can't think of a way to edit it to avoid the spoiler, either. "Jeopardy spoilers" is too obvious. Anything not obvious enough and I'd still have read it.

Oh, well.

Is that the guy that's been going for months and months now? How long has he been there and how much were his winnings up to? And, worse yet, doesn't he loose the winnings, or part of them?

Yes, way more than a season, $2.5 million, and no, he doesn't lose any of it, except to Uncle Sam.

Yup, no way around it... It was fairly inevitable--heck even ATC on NPR ran an ET "Could the roomers be true?" style piece on it this afternoon which all but gave it away. Quite a stint.

They were asking people who were rooming somewhere about this?

Well, it was all over the media, from our local news/talk radio (KVOR), to ET and just about everything in between. As well as quite a few of the newslines and blogs out there...Did not think anyone would mind. Watch the show, it was pretty good, even knowing the ending. I won't spoil it further and tell you that it was only between two constants...oops! Guess I did. So much for Toast!

It was in the news here locally (as he is from the Salt Lake area) a couple of months ago that he finally lost. The shows were filmed during the summer.

Ok, I've obviously been living in a cave for the last year. I saw the subject line and thought "Who's Ken Jennings?"

it seems like a question he should've easily gotten right....it seemed staged to me......

It's approaching Christmastime for us, so it's easy for us to avoid looking at Christmas for the answer. But this was filmed months ago. Ken knows that they like to do things that have relationships to the viewing season, and he figured out that it was going to be shown near Christmas, give or take. So he probably was thinking Christmas the whole way.

That's just my guess. Or he could have thrown it. He just crossed $2.5M. Maybe he decided that he was done.

I read on one of the news feeds that he was trying for like 100 or 200 or so wins...I can't remember what the number was now, so I don't think he threw it...I think he just gnarfed it....crap happens...but I for one, was still glad to see his run come to an end...he seemed to be getting a bit full of himself...But who won last night? The woman who beat Ken?
Hmmm.
But don't worry 'Kenny fans'...I'm sure we'll see him on the tournament of champs!
