I don't know if this has been covered somewhere else or not, but here goes. If you are listening to the Empeg in regular order(not randomized), is there a button to sjip to the next playlist of songs. I have my Mp3's sorted by type of music, Rock, pop, Rap, country and so forth. Then within those playlists I have the artists in another playlist. So for instance, I have 50 songs for an artist that is currently playing. Without forwarding through the rest of the 50 tracks to get to the very next playlist. Is there a way to 'jump' to the next playlist?

I know I could search the remote for that artist very easily, but when I do and I finish listening to all those tracks it either repats or stops playing.

I find that if the Empeg doesn't do this in some form it would be very useful.

I've wanted that feature on more than one occasion too. I've done a quick search on the bbs but haven't found any reference to it. It may be in there, just deeper than I have looked. So I don't know whether it's going to be a future feature or not. Perhaps someone could enlighten us.

Think I sawe somewhere, that if you keep the down arrow button on the player pressed for 2 secs, it will skip to next playlist. No clue where I read it, and I may well be wrong. Wanted to test it myself, but forgot - again

The down button either (quick) brings up menu or (long) turns info mode on or off.

Once you've selected the music to play, the player has no concept of playlists - it's just a single list of tracks. So, it'd be quite difficult to implement "next playlist" functionality at present.

It's not hidden - it's not there.

Roger - not necessarily speaking for empeg
