Amazing program, I'm amazed they are allowed to show it!
We live in a very funny country, you can show real humans being chopped up, but if you put Jesus in a nappy that's not cool at all. Very Strange.

Yeah, I've seen this one and the previous one, very interesting.
Seeing a knife slice into a testicle was definately watch-through-your-fingers TV.

There used to be a show on the learning channel called the operation where they would show various operations. The worst thing I saw on there was a vasectomy reversal but that sounds tame compared to this show.
The show you guys are talking about sounds like they are going for the shock factor.

I think if Jerry Springer the opera had been on channel 4 then there probably wouldn t have been such an outrage. as soon as certain people think their license money has been spent on it there's outrage.

I had to decide whether to allow my TiVo to get Anatomy for Beginners or the program about the fall of DeLorean cars. It was a tough choice but after reading here I'm kindof glad I went with Anatomy!
I looked but I couldn't find alternative recording times for either of these. Pity, I'd quite like to see the DeLorean progam too.

I've just done a search and it is a different one. This one is "Car Crash: The DeLorean Story":

This one was made in 2004 for BBC Four and was quite interesting - it had brand new interviews with all the key people (expect JZD) and went into quite some detail about the circumstances.
Also previous shows panned the car itself but this one was more realistic and didn't pan the car itself but explained the reality. The DeLorean owners club made damn sure because they have helped in previous shows and been p*ssed off.
A DeLorean is on my list of "cars to own" at some point. The UK import duty rules used to be quite slack and for a DeLorean you could pay 0%, but the rules have changed recently and you probably wouldn't get away with it now.

Sounds to me that you need to ditch the TiVo and get Sky+.

Is this really that bad, or is it the idea of nad surgery that puts you off? I can't find any photos online of it. I guess I had a not so bad idea of it because I watched my boyfriends vasectomy, and even I didn't puke from it (I barf easily).

Hardly even qualifies for the term "nad surgery" -- pretty low key. I think he needs to watch 4-5 much gooshier surgeries and then report back!

Actually First they showed the vasectomy which was not bad at all a couple of stitches and sit with ice on your lap for a few days.
Then they showed the reversal which involved removing the testicles from the scrotum to get far enough in to connect to an unfused part of whatever the tube that the sperm comes out of is called. It looked far too bloody and way too complicated for according to the show a small chance of being able to conceive anyway.
