I have a couple of 256 strips
Sticker says 256MB DDR 333 CL2.5
32Mx64 SDRAM
PC2700U-25330-A0
HP Part Number 305957-041

Anyone know what they are worth, or have a use for them, or want to buy/trade them?

Brand new, Never used, still in double plastic display card.
Thanks

Some people will only use stuff with an HP part number in their workstations and servers I guess. I once sold slow, loud, and used 2GB SCSI drives on ebay for about 3 times what they were worth because I put the HP part number in the description. A 256MB DIMM isn't worth $80, but since it has an HP part number, this guy thinks he might get it.

I was just hoping that someone might want to trade some cool Empeg stuff...I really don't think they are worth that much...probably not even worth an empeg bag...

I had to pay £65 ($130) for a 256MB stick of PC100 memory the other day

I was upgrading my sister-in-law's PC, despite my best efforts I had failed to get her to provide me with the Dell tag number for the PC (I bought the PC on her behalf some years ago, but couldn't remember which model it was). She lives in deepest, darkest North Wales (5 hours drive from us).

So I couldn't buy the memory until I had seen the machine and the only place I could find locally was PC World...

Well, If anyone does need/want the memory, feel free to PM me...I just hate to have it sit on my desk along with all the other crap I'll not use, like the new 40 gig desktop hard drives, server class NIC cards, etc...

I probably have at least one PC-100 256MB sticks laying around here. I didn't think the PC in question took PC100 RAM. I should have taken all my spare memory with me, but I forgot...
