Just in case anyone searching pulls up this thread, I'd just like to close it by saying that in my case, APC did pay out, almost $1200 dollars worth. They go by a blue book of obscenely low used values for the equipment, so that's not nearly enough to replace everything. But, add it to the insurance money and it becomes a nice little help. Oh, and they did send a new UPS too.
