Was just wondering whether or not the Mark 2 will be compatible with the Mark 1's docking cage? (Would make it REALLY easy for a present impatient owner to upgade to the new unit!) Thanks.

It's been said that it will not be compatible.

The Mark 2 has a lot more docked connections, for things like the external tuner, microphone input, cell phone mute, display dimmer, permanant power and so forth.

Therefore it has not been possible to use the same docking system. We have also made other improvements to the cage to reduce binding and improve flexibility of the cable loom where it exits the cage.
