msaeger carpal tunnel Registered: 23/09/2000 Posts: 3608 Loc: Minnetonka, MN	I got an IR to RF converter from weaknees I works well but I am curious how it works. There is just some RF transmitter thing that gets stuffed into the battery compartment of the remote and I can't see how it picks up a signal from the remote. _________________________ Matt

lectric pooh-bah Registered: 20/01/2002 Posts: 2085 Loc: New Orleans, LA	The battery would still pulse as the LED lit, et would just be .17 amps instead of .15 (making the numbers up). The screen would be a constant draw.
