Actually, the city doesn't do the inspections at all. Instead, they send me a form that, conveniently, the installer of my sprinkler system is licensed to fill out. This is Texas, so they outsource everything.

Is the requirement for ground cover to stop wind erosion or a walk/play on surface? There are loads of different ground cover plants that you could use.

Just wanted to mention - please keep us posted on what you do and how you do it. I live in Saint Paul and am considering adding a sprinkler system this year, would love to know your experiences on it.

So far I drew a map of my yard and I am sending it to several sprinkler makers that offer free design. It will be interesting to see what I get back.

Why don't you forget the sprinkler system and put in this.
