Guess I should've waited a few weeks to order my 12 gig player, the RIO website has them on for $100 less than I paid Empeg back in January....oh well

We kept the same price range and shifted the capacities upward. There were at least two capacity increases when we were empeg, and I'm sure there will be plenty more. The problem with waiting for the next improvement is that you'll be forever waiting

The current 12Gb version is very good value, though, as that price slot is actually intended to be 10Gb. There are a few hundred 12Gb players at 1199 as a launch offer, but when they're gone they're gone.
