Nicola and myself have found ourselves in Amersfoort for the last 2 days of this years european driving trip. We are using it as base for a day trip into Amsterdam on Thursday.

So to my question, can anyone remember the name and location of the ribs place, and know if they will do ribs for us or is it a special empeg thing?

You could have had the use of our guest room and garage (an entourage of 3 Finns just left today ) if you wanted to avoid the Amersfoort-Amsterdam shuffle (that bit of highway is one of the most congested in Holland).

This was a very last minute thing, so I didn't just want to drop in on you, but thanks for the offer

I think the rib place has indeed changed hands as it looks very different, we didn't try it we went to a mexican place just off the main square, we didn't have much luck finding the brewery either, maybe next time?
