If anyone is after a TomTom One in the UK at the moment then Curry's have a good deal on at the moment. Their web price is £183 at the moment and if you enter the promo code "price10" then it brings it down to £164.70 including delivery.

My house is full of gadgets that now cost a quarter of what I paid, as a "must have" early buyer.
In the case of TomTom, I have no regrets, if I'd paid £1,200, it would have been value for money: No arguments with Mrs.B. over map reading; No wasting time having to pull in and study maps. Just once, it sent me up an impassible road in the motorhome in Mid-Wales, but I notice that that has been corrected in updates.

Which frees up your time to "discuss" something else no doubt

The last time I used my Tom Tom I ended up arguing with it, eldest sprog had to intervene: "Daddy will you stop shouting at the lady, she's only trying to help"

It frees up the time to play with the Empeg, now it's fitted: Mrs. B. is quite happy doing the Telegraph crossword - silence generally prevails otherwise!
