Anyone playing with it?

Any way for me to get it if I didn't buy Crackdown?

I've yet to download it - I'm scared at the thought though... full of screaming 8-year-olds no doubt.

Theres no way for you to get it unless you have the Crackdown disc - go and rent it though. Keep in mind that you need the disc to play the beta.

On a side note... MS have now started banning modded xbox 360s from Live. Hopefully that'll get rid of some of the aforementioned 8-year-olds!

I have the beta, but haven't played it yet. Since I haven't played any of the previous Halo games, I'd like to at least run through the single player versions of those first before getting into the Multiplayer Beta stuff. I guess its because I don't know anything about the world - while not necessary for the beta, would be nice to help with the immersion.

One thing I already like, without ever using it is the instant ignore thing though
