burdell1 old hand Registered: 14/01/2002 Posts: 931 Loc: Minnetonka, MN	When I was at work someone gave me their old iBook because their kid had broke the CD-rom and their power cable shorted out. So i thought I'd tinker around with it and see if I can get it to work. However, i was looking for a cheaper power cable in case it is DOA. does anyone have an old one? thanks

matthew_k pooh-bah Registered: 12/02/2002 Posts: 2298 Loc: Berkeley, California	That generation of power cable isn't the sturdiest around, I've gone through and Apple one and three Macally ones for my powerbook in four years. If you're looking for cheap, the macally ones go for $34 new on Amazon. Matthew
