They're remaking MI:1. I've only just heard about this but it must have been going for a while now.

Telltale is also making a new 5 part episodic monkey island.

Last I heard, Loren Cox was animating for Telltale. I wonder if he's been working on this series.

Edit: Checked his blog. Looks like he was in a pretty nasty crash a few days ago.

WOW! I can't believe how long it's been since I've been here. Ugh... I miss you guys. Unfortunately/fortunately... my life has prevented me from being so screen bound as of the past year+

SO: Telltale
Haven't worked there in a couple years... which is a bummer because that meant I passed on working on Wallace and Grommit AND on the Strongbad game. But as I said above... new priorities. I turned down working on that series as well actually.

I'm doing all my work freelance for Ozone Paragliders these days... doing all of their graphic design and some photograpny/video work. Loving it.

CRASH: Yup. sucks... will have more screen time than I can deal with over the next 3 months... and I need to sell some empeg stuff to cover med bills so I'll be around more often I'm sure. =]

Speedy it won't be... I'm looking at 3-4 months before I can even start rehab! BUT... I'm settling for nothing but full recovery so we'll see how it goes. Thanks for the well wishes!

I've bought the first 4 episodes of Tales of Monkey Island and I've enjoyed them so far. Just waiting for the 5th one to be released.

A couple annoying puzzles are repeated like the mazes but on the whole it delivers whats expected of a Monkey Island game. I think nearly all the voice acting is the same as previous games as well except Le Chuck.

Also I hope Loren is feeling better
