Getting more confirmations of gigs this summer:

10 June - headlining Go North Festival on the Thursday in Inverness at Mad Hatters
12 June - Rock Ness festival (not sure what time yet)
20 June - Fusion, Orkeny
22 June - Aberdeen (can't remember the venue name)
23 June - Mad Hatters, Inverness
24 June - Glasgow
25 June - Edinburgh
3 September - Club Antichrist, London

All details will go up on the website - www.metaltech.me

If you fancy coming along, let me know and I might be able to get discounts/passes for empeggers

Did you really mean June for all of those dates?

I'm afraid so Mark - going to be a very busy month. Considering the day job is currently averaging between 70 and 90 hours a week I'm flat out!

Had final practice and choreography tonight. Two more sleeps!

Can't wait!

Choreography?

You mean like with 4 guys in a chorus line, wearing red jackets, black slacks, and a carnation on the lapel, that kind of choreography?

I was thinking more along the lines of strapless gowns (with sequins, of course), fishnet stockings and spike heels...

Hahahahahaha - with us three lads in odd costumes after drinking beer, you're really looking at synchronised jumps and similar simple nonsense.

(but I like the strapless gowns idea - maybe next year!)

I was thinking it could be interesting to see you guys play when you're down in London and went to go lookup where you're playing and maybe not laugh

Hahahaha - but our gig at Rock Ness on Saturday was an absolute blast! The pyrotechnics in the crowd went down well! (and by pyrotechnics I mean confetti cannon, glitter guns and party poppers - see how rock and roll I am)

Guess who feels embarrassed now - I had got that wrong! Actually what we have now is:

22 July - Aberdeen
23 July - Mad Hatters, Inverness
24 July - Wicker Man festival (main stage!)
25 July - Bannermans, Edinburgh
6/7 Aug - Belladrum festival (tbc) - this is a family friendly festival, may need to tone some songs down a tad!
3 September - Club Antichrist, London

It's very tempting to catch a flight over for a mini-holiday around those dates! Except we're already booked for a mini-holiday elsewhere around then.

Don't think I'm having any holiday this year - possibly a week away camping in the highlands after the wee tour. Maybe next year will get to take a break.

Maybe.

But if you do get over, give us a shout if Scotland is on your itinerary. Always a guest room here in Livingston.
