Cris pooh-bah Registered: 06/02/2002 Posts: 1904 Loc: Leeds, UK	I've been using a plotter cutter to cut out bits and bobs from 2mm foam for a while now. The blades are a bit of a pain, I'd like to build a home brew CNC laser cutter. Anyone got any experience and can point me in the right direction ??? Cheers Cris

StigOE addict Registered: 27/10/2002 Posts: 568	I'm building one now. You can find the plans and kits on Buildlog.net. Another possibility is to just buy a ready-made laser cutter on eBay. This might be cheaper depending on needed cutting/engraving area and features. Have you checked to make sure that your foam can be cut in a laser cutter? Not everything is suitable for a laser cutter. Stig
