I've been searching for some 30 minutes for plugins or software to correct for barrel distortion in a video clip. This isn't built into iMovie and plugin refs for that software found using Google were for the version from 2003.

The topic is also referred to as fisheye to rectilinear conversion.

The most promising solution I found is reference to a Photoshop filter - however I have not been able to find the scripts that actually do the work, only videos demoing it.

I've got video shot with a GoPro that I'd like to process so they don't look like the viewer has their head inside a fishbowl. I'd like to avoid taking apart the video into still images and then correcting everything frame by frame before reassembling.

Finally found a $40 plugin for Final Cut Pro X. That doesn't help with iMovie though...
