I have an MK2A for sale. Bought of Ebay years ago (6-8), looked (and still looks) like new in box. Doesn't appear to have ever been installed. Comes with everything in original box: CD, instruction book, wiring harness, sled with wiring harness, remote, AC adapter, etc.

Intended to install this in my car but never did, and now never will. I don't know much about these units except what I've read on this forum; the Empeg sounded like a great music delivery system but it's been sitting on the shelf collecting dust for too long.

Okay, now about the missing/bad hard drive. When I powered the unit on (with the AC adapter) just now I received the message: No Hard Disk Found Contact Support. Weil, it says on the box it has a 20GB hard drive installed (from factory). I can only assume the hard disk has failed even though it has never been used (by me).

So what's it worth? I dunno. Guess I'll start with an asking price of $125 and go from there. Photos below.

The lubricant for the hard drive has probably just gummed up from lack of use, so the drive is not spinning up. Not really an issue -- anyone getting this should probably also put in a PATA SSD (eBay) as a replacement. Or a CompactFlash card or two.
