Hello All,

I have reached the end of my ability to Google where to find more of these. They're a terminal block test connector of some sort, but I can't find exactly what it is to buy more. They're molded plastic plugs with wires coming out. We have some with 3 pins and some with 2 as seen in the photo. What's shown in the photo are the only markings. The opposite side of the connector is bare. If anyone knows where I can buy these in the US at low volume, that would be swell.

Thanks!

The plastic bit has the solid core wire leads pushed through from the far side, correct?

The stripped back wires themselves are the metal probe tips?

What holds the bare wire in place?

Are these things intended to be used as wire probes? Wondering if they are the male side of a ‘connector’ system

I haven't handled this prior to being asked to find where to get them. I don't think the metal parts are stripped solid wire because the other end of the cable looks to be a standard Cat-5 RJ45 terminator. I think those metal prongs are way too thick and sturdy to be crimped.

The bare probes fit in to a terminal block that looks a bit like a Wago connector. The female end is kind of long like that and has a lever to release the wires, if I recall correctly. These probes are used to program LED drivers. So, they get used hundreds of times per day. We would like to be able to build our own as needed.

Perhaps buy a few and get one of our friends over in the UK to ship them to you.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure this is what I'm handling or possibly a variant of it. And we are an Acuity Brands OEM, so getting more of the complete assembly is no problem. However, our distributor price is actually quite a bit more than what you've linked.

To load-up on the cables next time I'm in europe might be an option, but building the cable ourselves sounds better to the guys here. If the connector is proprietary, then we may have no choice.
