I'm trying to install my empeg into a 1994 Toyota MR2 which has an active 8-speaker system and two amps (apparently). I currently have a Sony headunit installed which has 2 pre-outs (front and rear). The empeg only has one. So, the question is - what do I do?

What? The empeg has 4 line outs - front left and right and rear left and right check your docking cage!! It only has two outputs (left and right channels) on the back of the unit itself, but these are for home use, not for use in the car.

For home use you only have one set, but the docking cage for in car use has front and rear. Hence when in the car you will see a fader menu option, but at home you will not see that menu option.
