Yeah, we're losing a ton of money, but that's not uncommon on clearance stock.

Incidentally, if the US store says that the order went through, does that really mean "the order went through assuming we have the stock to fulfill it", or would it tell you right up front if it was sold out?

I think it would let the order go through no matter what. At this point, the estore is probably sold out of 10 gig players, even though they had 60 or 70 left before they started this liquidation. I dont think they are going to call and ask if someone wants to upgrade to a more expensive model, but I could be wrong.

I ordered two days ago. Yesterday night the US eStore was already reporting SOLD OUT on at least the 10GB unit. However, to see the message you had to actually try and put one into your shopping cart.

I ordered 3, but I'll be happy with only 2 or if need be, 1. Getting one for my brother was first priority and then a spare for myself. The third is for a friend.
