Given that there are 300 people registered on this list from a queue base of over 10,000, and only 29 people have voted here on the quality of their empegs, what does this illustrate?

- that very few of the queue know about this list (in spite of two newsletters pegging it)?
- very few people have actually received an empeg?
- a large number of people are putting off their order?

Any other wild guesses?

The highest serial number I've seen posted is 99, so perhaps many haven't received theirs yet.

Mine has s/n 112... so I would guess that there are less than, say, 200 units out in the wild life. But there's another reason for me for not filling in that survey: I don't yet really know how good my empeg is going to be! At the moment, I definitely miss some functions, and the radio is really not up to par (in fact I'm delaying mounting the empeg in my car until I know how good the radio will really be, so I can decide if I need to keep the old head unit).

Ditto. I got mine a couple of days ago, but only managed to upload some
music to it late last night (thanks for the software Hugo :)). But it won't
be installed in the car for another week, then give me another week and
I'll answer the poll...

My sentiments exactly.
I'm going to wait until I have the installation PERFECT, then live with it for a couple weeks before I decide just how good it is.
Let me just say that my first impression is very good. Maybe a few more betas from now it'll be perfect; I just don't want to have to give it a worse review than it deserves.
