I like the new behaviour of "toggle info" (long press of Down) in 2.0b7 in player mode - that does what I usually want (except that if I cycle using the remote, I end up going between Now & Next and Transient - maybe it should only remember Info modes chosen through the menu, but that would be bad for people (Sony stalk owners, I think) with a "Previous Info" function).

However, in Tuner mode, it doesn't DTRT. If I start with Radio info, toggling gets me (correctly) to Transient, which was what I was using at the last power-down. Toggling again takes me to Off (no info) which isn't what I want, but it's at least consistent with 2.0b3. The real brokenness happens when I toggle again - Info stays Off. This is bad.

Ideally, I'd like Info to behave as it does in MP3 mode - always toggle between the full-screen info (Radio) and one that shows visuals (Off, Line, or Transient), using the MRU of each group

I have a related wishlist, but I'll take that to the Proper Place for it .

The only stalk problem I have was mentioned here earlier.

I didn't quite understand the reported bug above.. sounded more like an ordering issue.. but for me (2.0b7 code with 141 hijack kernel) whenever I switch info modes in my car it wont remember the info setting.. it always reverts back to Now and next mode. now I am always using the remote's info button when doing this. So maybe I need to try using the remote with menus. As well as using the console buttons and see if it still fails to remember (upon reboot). It seems to remember the visual just fine.. but not the info state.

Is it possible to make it *cycle* through the various info modes by holding it down?

If you mean it goes back to Now & Next when you start it up in the car, this is as designed.

I believe he might be talking about something I have noticed more recently as well. When switching info modes with the toggle button, the last full screen mode is marked as Now and Next, even though it may only be active for a split second. I don't remember how it worked in 1.03, but I rarley switched to visuals back then.
