I ordered my rio 60gb on Tusday Jan 29th 2002. I thought they put me on backorder. I called them up to ask them for a status. After 5 minutes of classical music wait. I hung up. Today, friday feb 1st. My order is shipped!!! So they are not on backorder. I would put my order in if you are thinking about getting one. Just a heads up!!!

I ordered my 30 gig unit on Monday January 28th. It is still showing as pending shipment.... I am going to try and call them in a bit once they open in California. I hope I get one from them, if not I guess I'll try ebay. At least it looks like you can get one from ebay for just a few dollars more than sonicblue.

Honestly I wouldn't buy it from Ebay. Their buy price is outrageously high. Plus sometime their shipping price. If anything goes wrong do you think the seller would honor returning it. The point of ebay is to buy it at a cheaper price. I would personally pay less with somekind of warranty than none..even if there is a wait.

I ordered my 30gig Tuesday (28th) afternoon.. about 4pm. MaximaJed also ordered his tuesday, and his shipped yesterday.. I'm hoping mine ships today!!

There are 2 points to ebay. Not just to buy things cheap. It is also used to find things that don't come around often at a price that isn't very cheap.

Ordered mine Jan 26th. Got notification today Feb 1 that it has been shipped Woo Hoo!!!

I ordered mine thursday and I have a FedEx tracking number now

I ordered my spare 20G on the 24th and got it yesterday.
I found a screw in the bottom of the box Guess I had better find where it came from.
My first 20G came from Ebay ($400) and is spending more time at work and at home rather than in the car!
