Deleted two empty playlists and uploaded an album. Got the attched error during the sync (wouldn't restart player). The player went into standby and didn't wake up. Needless to say, all desired operations were completed.

I've done three syncs with 2.0b11 and every time I've had this error (attached). Everything seems to be ok though.

Hmm. I haven't gotten any synch errors with either betas 10 or 11. I would suggest getting a log from emplode (turn on its logging feature).

Will do, but I've sync'd twice since and it all went good.

Same here. During the first sync i got that exact error, but now it's syncing fine.

I tried another sync with logging turned on and guess what? Yep it synced fine that time. I'll keep logging on just in case it decides to play up again.

The first synch I made with beta11 was uploading a 120Mb file. The file uploaded correctly too, but when the player had to restart I got an error and the player locked up. Don't know if it's the same error you guys had, but I suspect it is.
Manually cold rebooting the player did the trick. I didn't even have to resynch to rebuild the database. All continued like nothing had happened.

All my other synchs I've tried since then have been successful.

I got the same "failed to restart player" error. It seems to be intermittent.

Yep, I got the same error. Not the first time I synced, but the first time I synced after deleting and adding songs to the unit.

Ah! That's right! I forgot about that. Prior to uploading that file to the player when it didn't reboot, I DID remove a file. Maybe that's the cause?

No big deal (fails after everything is done, while re-connecting to the player), but still annoying.

This is a known bug in beta 11. Your music has been synchronised, but then the player wandered off into a wibbly wobbly world of its own. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
