hi, done this:

1.) installed emplode 2.0b11 on a winxp box which had never seen emplode stuff before, updated player to 2.0b11

2.) created a new playlist, added tracks to it by d&d from windoze file manager, sync

3.) drove around a while

4.) added some more tracks to the same playlist I created in 2.), sync

now I can find the freshly added tracks by searching for title or artist but they DO NOT appear in the playlist where I did put them...

btw sync done by ethernet, ip adress by DHCP...

bye

Are you completely sure that you added the tracks to the playlist? It's possible that if your playlist was named by artist or album, that you accidentally dragged the files into the "soup" portion of the tree.

You sound pretty definite, but I'd like to eliminate this as a possibility before we start looking at more esoteric causes.

Yes, please be absolutely sure you know the difference between Playlists and the Soup views. Details here.

I am definitely sure that I dragged the tracks into the appropriate playlist...
I also shuffled the order of tracks in that playlist around after dragging.
after the sync, the order tweak was not synced, too.

bye
