Empeg doesn't exist any more. The former empeg team are now the SONICblue "Audio Applications Software" team.

Loren,

Does RTFFAQ, mean what I think it does, if so thankyou so much for your help, it was a straight forward question I thought, and an answer like Rob would have been far more appropriate!!!
Perhaps one day YOU might ask a 'newbie' question on something you would be intrested in and hopefully I can give you a detailed answer, just like yours!!

Thanks by the way Rob

If you had looked more closely, you would have noticed that the "RTFFAQ" word Loren posted is actually a link, linking you to the exact info you were asking for on Riocar.org's FAQ.

Chill man...

Don't take offense at the statement, he was trying to be cute.

Just in case you didn't notice, the actuall letters "RTFFAQ" were a hyperlink to the answer to your question. Click on the letters and all will be revealed.

Oh dear, public apology, I just read the message on my email and not on the forum, so no link showed.

SORRY LOREN, YES I AM A TWAT AND WILL NOT LOOK AT EMAIL REPLIES ANYMORE.

[mild rant]
First: The truth is that there is a flashing and animated graphic on the post new topic page. This graphic takes you right to the FAQ. You can't miss it.

Second: Tony went through A LOT of work to make that FAQ. Everyone (not just newbies) should check that faq before posting.

Third: Paul is donating his bandwidth and server space to host this BBS. I don't think he ever imagined it getting this big. If everyone read the FAQ before posting, the amount last months posts probably would have been halved. We should all thank Paul, and try not to thrash his server with tons of questions covered in the FAQ.

Ok,
I've apoligised, and to be honest most of the posts and threads on this forum are USA, so I posted the question hoping to find the answer, and it was a genuine mistake regarding the RT.... post, what more can I do, offer all of you a Rio tuner, as a 'making' up present!!!

=].

It's cool. I left off the smiley on accident, thereby rendering the "ha ha" factor down to zero. We're all generally nice around here, and wouldn't post something like that in a "read the faq you stupid annoying newbie" sort of way.

Glad you got the info.

sucks that email replies don't show links... or do they only show in html formatted mail?

Thank s Loren.

By the way I got in touch with Rio in the UK, after being informed by another Cambridge audio dealer they were receiving another 100, but email stated that they did a few weeks ago, so the info was a bit out of date, back to trawling the net, dont want to pay the tax and import duty if I can get away with it!

Well it is a ballance between taking Paul's free bandwith or mine in this situation. I have no problems with the traffic on RioCar.org. unless someone somehow triggers a bug in the Gallery upload code that led to 700,000 hits on this small graphic:

Er, it has no ALT attribute; it's very easy to miss, unless you've configured your browser to auto-load that image.

Okay, I'm going to have to ask PaulH if he can fix up the Alt attribute of that tag.
