i have a problem with my tuner since 2.0b3. in b3 the tuner didn't seem to be installed, because i never was able to choose it.
in b7, it was a little bit better. i could hear sound from the tuner, but every 5 minutes the tuner hangs up.
but now in 2.0b11 i have the same problem as with b03. the tuner isn't recognized by the player.
is there a workaround? should i use another cable or is it just the software?

Install the version 1.03 software that came on a CD with the tuner. You must install both the Emplode and the .Upgrade. Also check this FAQ entry.

See if either of those things solves the problem for you. If not, contact support.

No, sorry, I connected the tuner module directly to the empeg.
the point is, sometimes it works, sometimes not. and why does the player freeze so often during mp3-playback?

another question, i have a kernel hack which let me choose that the player thinks, it was at home than in car. could this have influence to the tuner recognition?

Ok, i checked it with software version 1.03 now. the tuner is still not listed in the menu sources. now i don't know what to do.

2 days ago, i runs the tuner with version 2.00b07 and it works fine. yesterday i updated to b11 and since yesterday, the tuner is gone.
please tell me what to do now.

As I said in the previous message, it is time to contact support.

Note that it also should not freeze during MP3 playback, this is another reason you might want to contact support.
