(This message is being cross-posted to both the BBS and bugs@empeg.com.)

When I first installed the Beta 9 software (I have installed only consumer build so far) and listened to the unit on my home system, everything was fine. The new beep feature is neat.

Then I wanted to test the home/car EQ settings. So I took it to the car and played with the EQ and saved it. Then I took it back inside and plugged it into my home system.

Now the volume is really quiet in the home system. When I adjust the volume, it shows that it's at the maximum. I can even push it to +10db overdrive, and it's still really quiet compared to what it was before I took it out to the car.

The volume thing was my fault. I was adjusting the fader to EQ the rear speakers differently, and hadn't set it back.

Boy do I feel stupid.

Might be worth a suggestion, though: Always set the fader in the middle if it's plugged in at home?
