Several times since I got the unit I have seen this problem. One pixel line towards the right side of the screen will be brighter then all the others. It's real easy to see on bootup with the logo, and is easiest to see on the full screen info. It has happened since Beta 9a (What shipped to me) and happened again at 10a. Pulling power to the unit fixes the problem. Next time I see it I will try to see exactly what line it is, and if a "sleep" mode corrects it.

This is a known bug in the hardware controller that handles the VFD display. It's pretty rare, and as you can see, pretty easy to work around. Unfortunately, there's no way to fix it on the Mark 1 units.

Hugo, did this get corrected on the Mark 2's?

The code didn't change, but I've not seen it on a mk2 yet (might have been a boundary case - the mk2 display PIC runs quicker - 2.5x quicker). In theory, standby/wakeup on a mk1 should correct it. I think.
