Can someone tell, if the voice recognition which was promised about 2 years ago will ever be implemented?

There's no plan for car player development whatsoever at this time. Any development for the discontinued product will be adhoc, and probably influenced by other projects.

That doesn't answer your question either way, except to say that there is no answer either way.

well... there has already been some developement for the voice recognition in the past.
how far did the things go on there?

would it maybe be possible (if there are no licencing issues (are there some?)) to add some current status of VR to the beta-releases? everyone knows that beta-releases can be buggy so it wouldn't be too bad if it doesn't work perfectly...

but just some simple commands would be cool...
