No it doesn't. The 0x8 simply means that it was an error. It's only a Win32 error if the number begins 0x8007, 0x8008 or 0x8000. In particular, if it begins 0x8004, then it's an emplode error.

Moreover, the rest of the numbers (and a complete description of the error message) are helpful when attempting to diagnose the problem. We don't come up with these complicated numbers/messages for fun, you know
