Does anybody know if the EMpeg will be available without a hard dirve?

Also, if any of you want to add another hard drive, take a look around for dead laptops. Check out some local computer stores. We have a few dead laptops around with hard drives anywhere from 540mb to 4,8gig (all for me of course 8-) ), you could probably pick one up locally pretty cheap if it doesn't work ($100-$200), but just tell them what you want it for.

The empeg will not be available without a hard drive - for reasons argued numerous times on this BBS. Also, why purchase a small used drive, when you can purchase a new 12gb drive now for around $225 or so.. This will allow you to purhcase the base model (6gb) and upgrade it to 18gb...
