hey man. i knew it wouldn't be long before someone followed up to your post there, and i agree with them totally.

it sounds as if you've got a graphics chip ON the motherboard (cheap consumer box type) -- there SHOULD be an option in your BIOS to disable it.

(and yah, way off topic, but MAN i am dying for new messages here...)
