Just replaced the battery and the only thing that works on the remote is the #4 which just brings up a 30 sec increment "Quick Timer" display.
No other buttons work. Am I missing something here, like a menu to enable the remote or something?

Using Hijack as well. The remote has yet to work.

Sounds like something is messed up with Hijack. If #4 can bring up the quick timer, then the remote is at least working.

Try installing version 1.03 of the software, from scratch, and see if the remote works then.
