I'm not sure if this is a bug or a misunderstanding of how settings are saved...

If I'm working in emplode and I switch the info mode on the empeg, when I do a sync, the info mode reverts back to the previous info mode.

Is this a bug, or do I need to shut down the player (or perform some other action) for the info mode to save properly?

Normally, player settings are not committed to flash until power off or reboot. When doing a Sync, the player s/w gets restarted without a reboot, so perhaps it is reading the old settings from flash.

If this were the case, things like volume, balance, etc.. would also suffer. Try it: change volume really up or down, and then sync. Does it revert?

Actually, I think I read in another post that this is a bug in beta11 when in Home mode.

Can anybody else confirm?

Oh.. there is a bug like that, but most folks enable the Hijack fix for it (in the Hijack menu).
