Hey all,

Just did my install in my 97 Chrysler Sebring. My problem is that my antennae wire will not fit the tuner. My tuner has a weird input on it (possibly European??). My question is, is there a way to get an adaptor or something to make my antennae fit this tuner?? Please help if you can, i would really like to finish this install up! Thanks in advance.

An adaptor comes with the tuner module. So... You don't have an extension cable or adapter? Where did you get this tuner?

I hate to admit it but.....duh duh duh.....Ebay. The thing was listed as "Brand New" and even appeared to be factory sealed when I recieved it a month or so ago. I didnt think anything of it, until I finally got around to doing the install tonight....so dissapointing to get that far, and not be able to complete it! Thanks again for any assistance.

Leave that seller negative feedback. An install shop may have the adaptor. You are at empeg's mercy for an extension cable though. Contact david@empeg.com as he may be able to help you.

You probably need an $8 European --> US style antenna adapter. You can get one at any stereo shop. If fact, if you dash is apart and you're still confused, a nice guy in a stereo shop will generally help you out. They did for me at least. The extension is not generally neccesary, if you have the module you have (or can get) everything you need without having to bother empeg / wait on international shipping.

I seem to recall that the last time this subject came up, I also said "any stereo shop or Radio Shack should have one", and got reamed because that wasn't true for the guy's location. In fact, I wasn't able to look up a Radio Shack part number for the thing, couldn't find it.

Something to keep in mind.. The adapter is small and mixed in with the packing material. Maybe you have it in the box but just didn't see it yet.
