Well I think found a work around.
I took an unused power supply plug and put that into the connection on the player.The player now thinks it is in AC mode.Then I used hijack and force into DC mode.Slid it into my home dock and player boots and appears fine.I haven't tried it in car yet but I imagine it should work fine.I reconfigured how my amp turns on so there won't be any need to use the Empeg's or the Toyota's wires for that.
