Okay... I couldn't find a low value cap, so I used a resistor, instead. Assuming I did it correctly, then nothing changed. Can you confirm that I was doing the right thing, from the photo?


The area in the box, with the question mark is what I had thought were the resistors to check, but wasn't sure.


The other interesting thing to note -- after trying this, I left the RCAs with no output plugged into the stereo, cranked it (with the empeg volume maxed out, as well), and was able to hear the music, though faintly.
