I just received my Sony DVD burner today. I've installed it and now I'm trying to use Nero to burn a DVD. The problem is, the DVD options are grayed out! There is no mention in the help file of why this could be. What do I do to get it working?

Did you check Nero's website to see if it's compatible with your DVD burner?

Its also worth getting the update from the Nero site. It should get the most current models running.

Failing that, reinstall Nero after the burner. I had this problem with a CD writer.

Thanks, I didn't know they had a compatability list. Turns out I just need to update to a newer version. I'll see if this works. Thanks
