Billed as the 2003 Japanese National Yo-yo contest. Not sure if it is or not, all I do know is Yo-yoing is another thing the U.S. will have to cede mastery of to Japan.

I think that it's obvious that the reason I can't do that is because I don't have the proper gloves.

Dizam. I have a few good metal yo-yos with ball bearing axles and all, and I can do a few tricks, but nothing near to what those guys were throwing out. That's nuts.

WTF is about all I can come up with right now. Wow.

I'm sure those guys have motors in some of those yo-yos. Yeah, motors. I thought I could see the exhaust on a couple of the shots. As a matter of fact, I think some of them had little, tiny, minature people piloting them. Yeah, that's it.

Just when you think there's no way they'll pick up the slack... Zppppt, up comes the bloody yo-yo. This is going to be passed around work tomorrow for sure.

That is insane. And I thought it was hard to rock the cradle. Those slanty-eyed gooks are geniuses when it comes to certain things.

They sure seem to like our punk rock music and clothes though.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure one of those "gas station uniform" shirts actually had a patch that said "American."

And those kids are okay, but can they beat HIM :

All I know is that a Simpsons episode had a travelling Yo-yo team, (the Yo-yo Maniacs, I think) and it's a miserable life on the road...

All of the brand names I saw I recognised as american brands.

Maybe I am misunderstanding you.

I was agreeing with you and joking that a guy was wearing a shirt with a patch that had the word "American" written on it. I wasn't being sarcastic or anything. I may have not seen it correctly in the video, though.

OK, I thought maybe you were being sarcastic. I must have missed the "American" patch. It's finals week, I'm tired.

No, I wasn't even paying attention to what it was saying, I just noted it was in english. Like I said, I had been up for a very long time when I watched that.

The scary thing is......I'm still up.

unless they were actually the kids in America

oh yes, that is exactly what i meant. youll notice that i used apostrophes in the fashion that i tend to stick to. as quoting tools. in your example you left 're the kids...' just hanging.
