I don't see the need to allow any/all of the shuffle options from this new feature though.

Ignoring the time spent to code it, there's potentially no downside to allowing that, though. A shortpress on replace(s) (to use your example) could use the default, while a longpress could pop up another submenu to select which shuffle. This is basically the same UI used for all the longpress menus, where the shortpress does the same thing as a longpress+shortpress.
