How about this? I know here that the national car club I belong to (the ANWB) offers a "car safe", an armoured box that bolts onto the chassis under the driver's seat.

I've often wondered if something like that existed, and I would love to have one. Sadly, there probably isn't sufficient room under the driver seat of my truck, any longer, as the only place I could stuff my amps was under the seats.
