I'm trying to remember the last time I flew? I have worked up at LBA loads of times, my claim to fame is having installed a line for the controller behind the main flight desk at the top of the tower, they let me sit there and watch all the planes etc... and how it all works, it was all little bits of paper in them days, not a computer in sight (and this was only a couple of years ago!). I'm not sure if I would get away with that now, not after 911.

They seem a nice bunch up at LBA, as long as you stick to the rules, have you ever been air side? Look closley at the security's hands if you do
