Ya, that still sounds bizarre as hell if you're talking about using a track pad to move a mouse cursor. If you're scrolling a list or page, I can see how that interface would be fine though.

I'm waiting now for my Sage HD Theater to be delivered, which I'll use connected to my TV and let my media server do what it does best, record and serve.

The only times I ever need a keyboard right now are after having done a remote login to the media machine. Getting it to output to the TV requires clicking the login ID and typing my password again. Now I won't even ever have to do that. The video output of the media computer can stay fixed to the remote connection when I need it.
